As we study what makes a woman after God’s own heart, we often think about being in the Word, praying, and living out a pure life. Serving our families is very important in the Bible and so it should be in our lives as well. When looking back on your home life, how well can you honestly say that you have served your family? I do not know about you, but I have really let this subject slide in my own life. I will admit, I am not where I would like to be. I’m far behind, but the future is open for us. We can either stay in the same rut or choose to change.

In one month I will turn 17! I’m so excited! And as I look back on everything that has happened as a 16 year old, I can’t help but stand in awe at how faithful the Lord is. He has taught me so much this year and I am looking forward to everything He has ahead. As I look back, I know I have made so many mistakes that would have been totally avoidable if I had been putting Jesus first in those specific areas.

Anyone who has been through a basic junior high health class knows how important it is to stay hydrated by drinking water. However, the recommended 8 glasses of water a day is MUCH easier said than done. I don’t know about you, but even though I’m not particularly attached to soda or juice, I still find drinking enough water to be a challenge. With temperatures rising this summer and many of us increasing our outdoor activities, hydration is a necessity.
